Ok, so it has been a while since my last post, but that is because I have been working on a few things for this term. Not to mention the fact that this new website has me learning new skills that I haven’t quite mastered yet – hee hee.
Firstly, our final term of the year is well underway now and I have a couple of dates for you to take note of:
- The final lesson of the term is on Saturday 16 December 2017
- The Musical Theatre performance at the Bruce McLaren retirement village will be taking place on Sunday 26 November 2017 @ 1:30pm. Further details will be sent to all participants soon.
- End of year “Class Award”. All classes will be participating in this fun class assessment (including preschoolers); and every child will receive a beautiful rosette for their efforts. Parents will be invited into the class to watch their children perform and there will be a photo opportunity at the end of the lesson. Once again, details will be sent home soon.
- CHRISTMAS PARTY! Yay, our annual Christmas party will take place on Saturday 16 December 2017. There will be two separate parties, one for the Preschool children and one for all the other students. Please keep your eye out at the studio for the notice, and make sure to save the date. It really is a fun event where we all get to let down our hair, play some games, dance at the disco and win some prizes – hooray! Who wouldn’t want to join in on that?
As always, I hope you all a wonderful term and please don’t forget to let me know when your child practices their dancing at home. Our Term 4 competition will see 1 Main winner and 2 Runners up win a prize for the child who is most improved, come the end of the year. The more they practice, the more points they get – winners will be announced at the Christmas party!
